Spring Into Action at the OPC this March
Stand-up comedian Billy Ray Bauer will offer his comedic view of growing older as Spring Into Action kicks off on Friday, March 10 at the Older Person’s Commission (OPC). Highlights of the week include the Rewired not Retired presentation on “Finding your Passion”, a Travel Show featuring upcoming opportunities to travel with the OPC, and a Gardening Presentation with Detroit Free Press/News Master Gardener Nancy Szerlag.

Spring into Action is an invitation for the community to come and see what the OPC is all about and how much there is to do here,” said Renee Cortright, Executive Director of the OPC. “From art classes to Zumba, there truly is something for everyone here.” Find out what makes the OPC the place to be for 50+ individuals by exploring fun, educational activities, participating in an exercise class or watching an art demonstration.
Residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township have a chance to sample a variety of classes and activities at the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) in Rochester during ‘Spring Into Action’ from March 13-18.
Pre-registration is required for several Spring Into Action events. Residents can register for a maximum of three free events plus the movies by calling 248-656-1403, ext. 0. The OPC is located at 650 Letica in Rochester, MI.
