The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be holding their traditional Spring on the Farm on Saturday, May 19 from 10-4 p.m. Admission is $ 7 per person, ages 2 and up, and $ 5 for Museum members. Activities include The Barnyard Express Farm Show at 10:30 and 12:00, Guy Louis and the Chautauqua Express at 1:30 and 2:30, Tiny Paws Rescue League and their baby rabbits and hedgehogs, programs at the 1848 Stoney Creek Schoolhouse, kite making, tours of the Museum buildings, activities in the Children’s garden and small gardens to take home. In addition, demonstrators of knitting and quilting will be on hand to share these traditional crafts with all guests.

A huge Pioneer Homestead and Playground, set up by the Friends of Dinosaur Hill, will allow guests to travel back in time and work and play like yesterday with butter churning, housekeeping, log cabin building, shelling and grinding corn, rutabaga bowling, stilts, and pillow fights and hayrides will be available.
