Don’t miss out on these great activities and events coming soon to the Rochester Hills Public Library. Each child who registers for library programs must have his or her own library card and be a resident of Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Oakland Township. Registration is online. Confirmation numbers are required at the door. All youth programs are funded by the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library. Outdoor Explorers

3-5 year olds with parent/caregiver

Rotary Park

Register all 3 to 5 year olds attending with parent/caregiver, younger siblings are welcome! Join us as we explore the world outside of RHPL! We will spend each week discovering fun and interesting facts about the natural world. Topics will include plants, trees, water, dirt & worms, birds, and more! Please dress appropriately; this program includes hands-on outdoor exploration! Registration will open one week prior to each date at 9:00 a.m.

Youth Room
Register all children and adults attending. Arrive no later than 3:00 p.m. to complete all the activities. Help us wish this favorite character a happy 50th birthday! Make your way from station to station, taking part in birthday activities and treats! Online registration opens Saturday, July 27 at 9:00 a.m.

Storytimes in the Park

Rotary Park (at the end of the West Parking area)
Register all children attending; if event remains outside, non-registered participants are welcome. Meet us in the park for stories, songs and general merriment! Rain location is the Multipurpose Room. Registered participants will be given priority if we need to move indoors. Online registration opens one week prior to each date at 9:00 a.m.

“Unearth” your creativity

Register each child attending; one session per person.  Join us for one last chance to create a fun summer reading related project. Online registration begins Friday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m.

Summer Reading Wrap-up: Wild and Crazy Worm Party!
