BookFest Location

Event runs June 22, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the The Hilton Garden Inn, and is located at 200 Wilshire Drive, Troy, MI 48084. It’s just a stone’s throw from I-75, with easy on/off access. The Hilton Garden Inn is a wheelchair accessible, non-smoking facility. Service animals are welcome. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Free admission and free parking.

BookFest Admission

Admission to attend all BookFests is free. Children under the age of 16 years old should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Community Giving

​A portion of the proceeds from author table reservations, and Snack and Beverage sales will be donated to Executive Women International’s Detroit Chapter, a 501(c)(3), to support Literacy Programming in one or more of the following:

~Professional and personal Leadership Opportunities, for women interested in challenging the status quo.

~Scholarships for women in transition who are going back to school to move their lives forward.

~Literacy for children with two focuses; donations of books and a program we’ve designed and fund to Improve children’s reading and writing skills.

Participating Authors

All Authors are local to Michigan. Multiple genres will be represented including, memoir, mystery, children’s,
fantasy, science fiction, horror, speculative fiction, paranormal, romance, non-fiction, humor, magic realism, and young adult. Many authors will be reading selections from their work throughout the day.
