On Tuesday evening, Rachel Jacobs, formerly of Huntington Woods, was on her way home to Manhattan from her job as CEO of the online educational firm ApprenNet in Philadelphia when the Amtrak train she was riding crashed, killing her and seven others and injuring at least 200 passengers.
