The Rochester-Avon Historical Society announced its next lunchtime program will be Tuesday, December 2 at 12 p.m. at the Rochester Community House, 816 Ludlow in Rochester. The hour and a half program will feature Dr. Richard Stamps who will discuss the beginnings and early days of Oakland University, where he was an associate professor of anthropology from 1974 to 2012 when he retired after 37 years of teaching.
