Calling All Volunteers to Help Make Oakland Township a Clean Scene It's time for spring cleaning. On the first Saturday in May, Oakland Township residents help to clean litter and debris on township roads. Participants gather at 9:00 a.m. at the Township Hall for sign in, bag pick-up and refreshments. Anyone can volunteer. Youth and scout groups are welcome and can earn community service credits. 47th Annual Clean SceneIt is time to hit the road again and collect the litter and debris that old man winter left behind on Oakland Township's roadsides. Each year dedicated volunteers become part of the solution in helping keep our township looking great! This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 7.
