Santa, reindeer coming to Dino Hill

Santa will return to Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve with his live reindeer, Donder and Blitzen, on Sunday, December 9 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Santa will talk with good little boys and girls inside the Nature Center where his elves will also have a story and nature activities.  Donder and Blitzen will be in the Candy Cane Coral in the front garden area. Rochester’s community garden grows

Now in its second growing season, the Rochester Community Garden is growing strong. The city of Rochester, City Beautiful Commission and Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve teamed up two years ago to build a garden in the previously underutilized and little-known Scott Street Park. In its first year the garden had 42 plots; this year it’s increased to nearly 100 and is sold out. Where the Rivers Collide

It's hard to drive around Rochester for very long and not find yourself crossing over water. Both the Clinton River and the Paint Creek meander under our bridges and through backyards, from Oakland Township, to Rochester Hills, and downtown.
