Originally done by European clergy in Latin, the medieval Pageant Play “style” offered towns a chance to celebrate the holiday, have fun, and witness scenes from the Bible. Rochester area residents now have an opportunity to enjoy the Pageant Play on the campus of Oakland University by the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. Award winning Music Director Brandon Ulrich is once again leading a talented cast of students in the production of the annual Spring musical at Stoney Creek High School. This year’s musical, Good News, originally on Broadway in 1927, is a story of young love on a college campus with familiar songs throughout.
