Snell Served as Mayor from 1995-1999 Kenneth Dwayne Snell Former Rochester Hills Mayor, Kenneth Snell, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. He was 65. Snell was the City’s third Mayor, serving from 1995-1999, and as a member of Rochester Hills City Council from 1984-1991 and again from 1993-1995. Festival of the Hills Fireworks Show a Go for This Evening

Rain or Shine the Festival of the Hills will be taking place tonight starting at 6:00 p.m. at Earl E. Borden Park on the southeast corner of Hamlin and John R. Road. Families will be able to enjoy activities such as the petting zoo, nerf blast battles, games hosted by the Rochester Area Recreation Authority (RARA), as well as a variety of delicious food options. Thousands of people will head to Borden Park this Wednesday, June 27 for family fun, food, and fireworks at the Annual Festival of the Hills Fireworks Show. Festival of the Hills is June 29

Mayor Bryan Barnett said the city has raised $80,000 in donations to put on the annual Festival of the Hills, scheduled for June 29 at Borden Park. “We are anticipating a great show.
