The arrival of spring stirs up fond memories of special times on the Van Hoosen Farm. Joshua and his helpers were planting crops, the newborn calves were following their mothers, and the sweet smells of wild flowers filled the air. Enjoy ‘Spring on the Farm’ at Rochester Hills Museum

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be holding their traditional Spring on the Farm on Saturday, May 10 from 10-4 p.m. Admission is $7 per person, ages 2 and up, and $4 for Museum members. Pioneer Homestead gets ‘covered wagon’

The Friends of Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve received a generous grant of $5,000 for the purchase of a cargo trailer to house and transport the Pioneer Homestead and Playground equipment for community events. Since 1976 the Dinosaur Hill Pioneer Homestead and Playground has provided opportunities for children to play like yesterday.
