Summer Used Book Sale is Brand New

By John Smyntek The saying that “everything old is new again” is getting a major test at the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library’s Summer Used Book Sale set for August 13-15. RHPL Hosts Open House on June 7 to Unveil New Addition

The wait is almost over! On Sunday, June 7, 2015, the Rochester Hill Public Library will host the public at an Open House from 2-4 p.m. to unveil the new $1.6 million addition and newly redesigned drive-up return and pickup window. Light refreshments will be served. A special “sneak peak” was given to elected officials in the library’s service area. Friends of the Library announces their annual meeting

The Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library will hold their Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in the Library Multipurpose Room. At the meeting the Friends will review a brief report of the Friends activities in the prior year. In addition, the Friends will present a check to the Library to assist in funding various Library activities. Friends Give Library $105,000

The Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library recently gave the library $105,000 which was raised throughout 2010. The library will use the money to fund free public programs for adults and children throughout 2012 and to purchase 70 new public computers. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization that supports the library.
