Do you know the story behind the name of Rochester’s Wilcox Street? Early Avon Township settler Lyman J. Willcox and his son Elliot R. Willcox owned part of the land through which Wilcox Street now runs. Rochester Garden Club Bestows Beautification Award

Residents of the Clear Creek Subdivision enjoyed an exceptional entry display this summer, complete with an abundance of flowers, eye-catching boulders, stone walls and even a waterfall. It certainly caught the eyes of members of the Rochester Garden Club who awarded it the 2016 Beautification Award. This award is presented each year to a local business or public garden in the Rochester area with outstanding landscaping.
