Suzanne White is well known in the Rochester community for her longtime leadership of The Holiday Helpers of Rochester Hills, which assists the less fortunate of the city. Now, it’s someone in her own family who needs help. White’s 8-year-old granddaughter, Bailey Mackey, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer. Bring toy, get dinner

For the second year in a row, Limelight Sports Pub and Grill in downtown Rochester will host a benefit for the Holiday Helpers of Rochester Hills. On Thursday, December 8, bring a new, unwrapped toy and get a free buffet. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the buffet begins at 6 p.m. Holiday Helpers is a local nonprofit organization that assists needy residents of Rochester Hills and the Rochester school district. Planning to visit the Village of Rochester Hills soon? You can shop and at the same time help your less-fortunate neighbors by bringing food and gifts for the Holiday Helpers of Rochester Hills. On Saturday, December 3, the Holiday Helpers hope to Stuff-A-Truck with non-perishable food at the village beginning at noon and continuing until the truck is full. Well it's that time of year again and Holiday Helpers is kicking into high gear. Holiday Helpers is a small 501c3 nonprofit. We function as a charity and food pantry. Everyone who works here volunteers. No one collects a salary and often we reach into our own pockets to lend a hand.
