Money for Livernois bridge comes through

The Road Commission for Oakland County announced Monday that a state grant will allow the crumbling Livernois bridge over the Clinton River to be replaced in 2013, a year earlier than previously announced. A Michigan Local Bridge Program grant will cover $2.5 million of the estimated $2.7 million cost. Fire on Livernois in Rochester Hills

  On Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:17 P.M., the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 3000 block of S. Livernois.  The first unit on the scene reported a large amount of fire on the back of the dwelling.  Firefighters were able to enter the house and bring the fire under control within minutes.  There were two adults, two children, and several pets in the house when the fire occurred.  All occupants, including a dog, were able to get out of the house safely … [Read more...]

Rochester Hills, MI- The City of Rochester Hills will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed roundabout at Hamlin and Livernois on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. All residents and guests are invited to attend and participate in a uniquely designed celebration.
