The Road Commission for Oakland County announced Monday that a state grant will allow the crumbling Livernois bridge over the Clinton River to be replaced in 2013, a year earlier than previously announced. A Michigan Local Bridge Program grant will cover $2.5 million of the estimated $2.7 million cost. Fire on Livernois in Rochester Hills

On Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:17 P.M., the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 3000 block of S. Livernois. The first unit on the scene reported a large amount of fire on the back of the dwelling. Firefighters were able to enter the house and bring the fire under control within minutes.
