Matilda Dodge Wilson Statue Unveiled at Homecoming
A life-sized, bronze statue of Oakland University (OU) founder Matilda Dodge Wilson was unveiled near the walkway between the Oakland Center and South Foundation Hall during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend activities. The original idea came from the class of 2010 and began as a Senior Class Gift project. Jason Rewold began working in his family’s business as soon as he was old enough to swing a hammer. He followed a tradition that goes back four generations in the Frank Rewold & Son construction company. The firm traces its history back to 1918, when Frank M.
