Letter to the Editor: Time for a Change

Ravi Yalamanchi has my vote for Mayor of Rochester Hills for the following reasons. As a resident for over 30 years and a local practicing attorney, I find Ravi, a refreshing change. Former mayor Pat Somerville dies

Former Rochester Hills Mayor Pat Somerville died Saturday, March 2, 2013. In an email, her close friend Suzanne White notified friends. "With a heavy heart I write you to tell you our beloved friend passed away this morning. Pat was 80 years old. Pat was not in pain and died peacefully in her sleep." Rochester Hills Mourns the Passing of Former Councilwoman and Mayor

Rochester Hills, Michigan- The City of Rochester Hills is mourning the passing of former Mayor Billie Ireland, 83, who served as Township Trustee for Avon Charter Township in 1980 and became the first Council President of the Charter Commission for the City of Rochester Hills. Two men who would like to be mayor of Rochester Hills attacked Mayor Bryan Barnett’s record Wednesday during a candidate forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
