In the face of the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, the Rochester Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) continues to provide essential services to the vulnerable senior population in our community. Neighborhood House Hosts Third Annual Blast Off 2 School Event

Neighborhood House, Ascension Providence Rochester (Crittenton Hospital), and the Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan have teamed up to host their annual Blast off 2 School back-to-school event on August 17 at the Neighborhood House main office (1720 S. Health Division offers flu shot with better protection this year

Oakland County Health Division will offer a vaccine that guards individuals against four flu viruses this season. This year’s vaccine shields against Type A H1N1 and H3N2 and two Type B strains which are most likely to occur this season. The vaccine protected against three flu strains in years past.
