A Sleepless, Triumphant, Bittersweet Week for the Falcon Marching Band

Last week, the Rochester Falcon Marching Band (FMB) performed four times in five days, capping off an exciting marching season. At the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) District XVI Marching Band Festival, the FMB, under the direction of Mr. David A. Rochester High School Teacher of the Year

Rochester High School Director of Bands named MSBOA Teacher of the Year Mr. David A. Uhrig, Director of Bands at Rochester High School was named as the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) District XVI Teacher of the Year for 2017. Rochester High School Bands Earn High Grades at State Festival

All three Rochester High School concert ensembles performed at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) State Festival on Friday, April 28 at Sterling Heights High School. The Wind Ensemble earned Straight 1’s and all A’s for a perfect Superior 1st Division Rating.
