Bishop for Congress Mike Bishop announced his run for U.S. Congress on April 2. He hopes to win the 8th District seat currently held by Mike Rogers. Rogers is not seeking re-election. Bishop tells the residents he wants to fix Washington and cut federal spending. His message also stated his reason for launching the campaign comes from his commitment to conservative principles.
