Motor City Brew Tours and New Belgium Brewing Raise $2,200 for Friends of the Clinton River Trail Motor City Brew Tours and New Belgium Brewing held their first annual "Cruisin’ for the Trails" fall ride on the Clinton River Trail on September 10. On May 2nd, the Motor City Brew Tours held their “Cruisin’ for the Trails” event on the Paint Creek Trail and raised $3,100 for trail improvements. Three hundred and fifty participants rode from Clubhouse BFD in Rochester Hills to the Paint Creek Cider Mill in Oakland Township, where they were greeted with a free can of New Belgium Beer and donuts from the Paint Creek Cider Mill. On April 27, the Motor City Brew Tours held a “Cruisin’ for Trails” fundraiser on the Clinton River and Paint Creek Trails, to raise awareness and money for trail improvements on both trails. Over 250 cyclists participated in the ride, which included tours of the Rochester Mills Beer Co in Rochester and 51 North Brewing Company in Lake Orion.
