U.S. Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced today that three schools within the Rochester Community School District were awarded National Blue Ribbon status for 2017. Rochester Community Schools has been notified by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) that two of the district’s schools have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2014, based on their overall academic excellence, according to a press release received by Rochester Media.
