Bacterial Meningitis Update on Kristy Malter

Conflicting reports have indicated that Kristy Malter has been placed on life support. Multiple sources had earlier reported she had died. Malter was a Lifetime Fitness employee who contracted bacterial meningitis. George Miller, director of Oakland County Health and Human Services, would confirm only that Malter was on life support.
