OPC Artisan Holiday Market Returns November 13

The Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) will host its annual Artisan Holiday Market on Saturday, November 13, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The market, which is open to the public, will feature unique and hand-crafted goods all made by local artists. 100 Women Who Care Support Seniors in Need

The Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) has a new tool to help them deliver meals to homebound seniors. Thanks to a generous $20,000 donation from 100 Women Who Care – Greater Rochester Area, the OPC was able to purchase a new ‘hotshot’ vehicle, used to transport Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors throughout northeast Oakland County. Summer Soiree to Benefit Meals on Wheels was a Magical Evening

On a sunny summer evening in August, 176 guests came together in the gardens at the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) to celebrate and raise critical funds for the organization’s Meals on Wheels program. The Soiree is the signature fundraising event for the Meals on Wheels program, and the night was a tremendous success, raising $50,000 in support of local home-bound seniors. The Older Persons' Commission (OPC) 650 Players Fall Show, an American Made Music Party, is entertainment designed to tug at heartstrings and tickle funny bones. This event is open to the public and tickets are $12/$15.
