Joslyn Resurfacing in Orion Twp. Begins Today

According to the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), today resurfacing work will begin on Joslyn Road from Clarkston Road to Indianwood Road in Orion Township. The road will remain open to traffic during the construction; however, motorists can expect delays. The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) tomorrow morning (Wednesday, Feb. 9) will close the Silverbell Road bridge over the Grand Trunk Western Railroad tracks in Orion Township due to the continued deterioration of the bridge. The bridge, located between Lapeer and Giddings roads, had been schedule for closure in the near future so the bridge could be demolished and replaced.
