The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) is still looking to hire Seasonal Summer Laborers. The position pay rate is $12.25 per hour, and the positions are fulltime. Adams Road to Close Starting August 8

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Adams Road - south of Rochester Hills - to southbound traffic between South Boulevard and Square Lake Road on the Troy/Bloomfield Township border beginning August 8 for road resurfacing. Messy Gravel Road Season, Driver Caution Says RCOC

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) advises drivers to use caution on gravel roads during the upcoming weeks. Rain mixed with snowmelt on many of the over 760 mile of gravel roads in Oakland County will likely cause soft conditions on some unpaved road surfaces. Invasive Species in Oakland County

Oakland County Collaborative Receives State Grant to Combat Invasive Species The Oakland County Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) has been awarded a $243,775 grant to combat invasive plant species from the Michigan departments of Natural Resources, Environmental Quality and Agriculture and Rural Development. Orion Road Bridge Ready to Open, Lane Closures to Continue

Rumor Has It … The Orion Road Bridge over the Paint Creek in Oakland Township is near completion. The final layers of asphalt are being laid this week. The original completion date was set for August 1, and then it was changed to August 15. Tienken Road construction to wrap up by end of Oct.

The Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC) sent out an update Wednesday sharing that the Tienken Road construction project in Rochester Hills is slated to wrap up by the end of the month.
