City Council Renames Riverbend Park Many communities have a Riverbend Park. When people suggested meeting at "Riverbend Park" - you used to have to ask, "Which one?" Riverbend Park was the official name of the Rochester Hills city park located north off Hamlin Road, between Adams and Crooks Roads, even though the entrance sign clearly showed "River Bend Park" as the name. Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett welcomed his town to a crowded Emagine theatre as he delivered his seventh State of the City Address centered on innovation Wednesday night. “I’m incredibly excited about the news tonight because we have a really great story to tell,” Barnett said prior to the event.
