The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has opened Tienken Road from Adams to Brewster and Livernois to Rochester Road to traffic today in an effort to ease Labor Day and back-to-school traffic. Joslyn Resurfacing in Orion Twp. Begins Today

According to the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), today resurfacing work will begin on Joslyn Road from Clarkston Road to Indianwood Road in Orion Township. The road will remain open to traffic during the construction; however, motorists can expect delays. RCOC Road Construction Suspended During Labor Day Holiday Weekend

Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) Managing Director Dennis Kolar has announced that most RCOC road construction projects will be suspended at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for the Labor Day holiday weekend. AT&T Scheduled to Work on Manhole Structure in Rochester Hills

According to the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), the northbound outer lane of Crooks Road just north of South Blvd. in Rochester Hills will close to traffic Friday, August 28 around 8 a.m. for repair work that will be done on a manhole structure by AT&T. One lane of traffic will remain open in the closure area, motorists can expect some delays. Tienken Rd./Canyon Creek to Rochester Rd. Paving Scheduled for Next Week

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will be paving Tienken Road from Canyon Creek to Rochester Road on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25, in the community of Rochester Hills. The Tienken/Livernois roundabout will remain mostly open to traffic; however, the eastbound portion of the Tienken Road roundabout will close intermittently to traffic during paving. The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) Board of Road Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2016 budget Thursday night, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium, 1200 N. NB outer lane of Crooks Road Closing for Emergency Repair Work

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) reported this morning that the northbound outer lane on Crooks Road, just south of Wattles Road, in Troy will be closed to traffic beginning at 9 a.m. this morning and is expected to re-open to traffic on Monday, August 17.
