Down on the Farm takes place at Cranberry Lake Farm on Saturday, October 7, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be tons of fun family activities, free and open to the public, including a hayride, apple picking, pumpkins, tractors, corn shelling. Poetry in the Park 2021

Friday July 16 at the Rochester Municipal Park Rochester Poetry Society presents this year’s event on Friday, July 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Pavilion in the Rochester Municipal Park. Rochester Rotary Dedicates Park Monument to Community Leader Bill Potere

Almost 100 people gathered in Rotary Gateway Park earlier this month, next to the library in Downtown Rochester, to witness the dedication of a new sundial monument. Inscribed on the front, the word IMAGINE, succinctly encapsulated the life of a Rochester community leader, the late William R. Potere. Bill Potere grew up in Rochester and eventually took over his father’s funeral home, which is now called the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home. Founders Day Kicks Off the Bicentennial Year for City of Rochester with VIDEO

Founders Day, an annual event, was extra special this year. A larger-than-normal crowd gathered at the Rochester Hills Museum, not only to recognize six new "founders," but also to kick off the start to the City of Rochester's 200th year celebration.
