Rochester-Avon Historical Society presents “Boom Town: Detroit in the Roaring ‘20s”

The Rochester-Avon Historical Society’s November 2014 member meeting will be held Thursday, November 6 at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Rochester Hills Public Library, 500 Olde Town in Rochester. RAHS October 2014 Brown Bag Meeting

The Rochester-Avon Historical Society will hold its next lunchtime program on Oct. 7 at 12 p.m. at the Rochester Community House, 816 Ludlow in Rochester. RAHS March meeting to feature Dr. Charles K. Hyde

The Rochester-Avon Historical Society’s March 2014 meeting will feature Dr. Charles K. Hyde, who will share and discuss information about the many products auto companies made for the war effort in the 1940s, but that were and still are quite unknown. The topic was the focus of his book,  Arsenal of Democracy. Charles K.
