Volunteers needed for Howlett Park Clean-Up Day on Sunday, July 27, 2014
On Sunday, July 27th, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Rochester City Beautiful Commission will be having a Clean-Up Day at Howlett Park. We are looking for volunteers to help build a pedestrian bridge with the Fire Department and Department of Public Works staff members. We will also be placing wood chips, removing invasive species and cleaning up the park and removing any kind of debris. Church Minister Found Dead
Jeremy King (Worship Minister at Rochester Church of Christ and employee of Rochester College) died sometime Tuesday evening while bow hunting alone in Holly. His body was found very late in the evening Tuesday. From what we know at this time, it seems he fell from his platform or while climbing the 25 feet to reach his platform.
