Jaycees Announce Return of “Santa’s Mailbox” to Downtown Rochester

Santa's Mailbox is returning once again to Downtown Rochester. Children of Rochester are invited to mail their letters to Santa by depositing them in the mailbox on the corner of 4th and Main Streets from Sunday, December 8 through Thursday, December 19. Children who drop their letters in the box will receive a letter addressed to them from Santa. Parade to honor Sheltons

Forty-seven years ago, Russ Shelton watched as ground was broken for Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. His father was on the hospital board; his mother was a volunteer. Now, he and his wife Kathy have assumed those same roles. Rochester’s 59th Hometown Christmas Parade with Video!

The 59th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade in Downtown Rochester was a raving success yet again this year. With reports of over 100,000 in attendance and over 100,000 more watching on Channel 7, the crowds continue to grow every year.  As many of the area's marching bands, non-profits, and fire departments proudly portrayed their best, the crowd was also entertained by church groups singing, kids waving, and dancers dancing.
