RCOC Update on Tienken Road Construction Project

On Monday, March 30, the second phase of the Tienken Road construction project was underway after a week’s delay. This project specifically impacts Tienken Road from Canyon Creek to Rochester Road. Residential and business access will be maintained within the closure zone. The detour is Adams Road to University Drive to Rochester Road and vice versa. Rochester Media Sponsors Writing Contest

Rochester Media is a sponsor of the annual Rochester Writers’ Conference and the writing contest associated with the event. Currently, two contests run per year. The 2014 summer writing contest had four categories with cash prizes for first, second and third places. Each category had a different judge from the local writing community. Rochester Writers’ Conference Attracts Over 100 Attendees

Six Years of Success Success continues to bless the Rochester Writers’ Conference, which has now completed its sixth event. The conference started at Rochester College and by its third year was being held at Oakland University because of its growth. The 6th annual event was held last Saturday, October 5th.
