Edward Henderson of Rochester Hills proudly served in the U.S. Army Security Agency in Thailand from 1968-1971 and in Vietnam. We heard reports today that AOL has sold off it's "Patch" division to a new owner and they have suspended the sites in Michigan and other states. They have laid off hundreds of employees nationwide as well. “Patch is being restructured in connection with the creation of the joint venture with Hale Global. It was reported this week that Patch will be laying off hundreds of employees and possibly closing hundreds of sites down.
