Road Commission Snow Update January 12, 2011

RCOC snow efforts started yesterday morning with anti-icing (spraying liquid brine on roads) in anticipation of the snow. This helps to delay the formation of ice when the snow falls.   We then had our full contingent of trucks out salting once the snow started and through the evening rush hour.
