Royal Oak Man Drowns While Swimming in Rochester Hills Park

From Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett Yesterday marked an incredibly sad day for our City. Last evening I received word of a drowning at Carter Lake at Spencer Park. As we await final details regarding this situation from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, our prayers and condolences go out to the immediate family and friends of the deceased. Fishing 101 at Spencer Park this Saturday

Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is presenting Fishing 101 at Spencer Park The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be presenting Fishing 101 on Saturday, June 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Spencer Park. Patrick Endres, Rochester Hills Environmental Educator, will show how fun and easy fishing can be. Children 7 and up are welcome.
