In 1956, 16 Rochester women; Robin Blanton, Joan Brann, Marilyn Brooks, Mary Burke, Mary Eberline, Peg Fetterly, Eveline Goble, Pat Henry, Ruth Herkless, Helen Mair, Kathy Crowe McAfee, Tommy Nirider, Gwen Ott, Ibbie Price, Leonore Talley and Katy Upton, came together to help the Rochester community be a better place to live. Stonewall Pumpkin Festival lights up the Rochester Hills Museum

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will host its annual Stonewall Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 13 from 10-4 p.m. The major sponsor for this event is Genisys Credit Union. Guests are invited to carve a pumpkin and place it on the stone walls surrounding the Museum property. After the evening lighting, guests can take their pumpkin home.
