Brooksie Way introduces new kids races, run for young athletes with disabilities this year

So your son or daughter is not a marathoner just yet. That doesn’t mean they can’t feel like one next weekend as the sixth annual HealthPlus Brooksie Way marks the turn of another fall season. Oakland County among Top 10 in State for Health Behaviors/Health Factors

Oakland County ranks third for health behaviors and sixth for health factors among Michigan’s 83 counties, according to the County Health Rankings Report released Wednesday. Registration for 2013 Brooksie Way Races Now Open

Runners and walkers can save themselves up to $30 on the entry fee by registering early for The Brooksie Way Half Marathon presented by HealthPlus. Online registration at saves half marathon runners and walkers up to 60 percent off the $75 entry fee charged to those who register on the eve of the Sept. 29 race.
