South Boulevard/Rochester Road Intersection to Close May 10 The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close South Blvd. at Rochester Road on the Rochester Hills/Troy border beginning Tuesday, May 10, for road construction. The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) advises motorists to drive with extreme caution today as freezing rain is expected throughout the day and evening. The RCOC is fully staffed and trucks are loaded with salt in anticipation of today’s forecast. Crews are pretreating many bridges and overpasses this morning. The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) invites visitors to this year’s Woodward Dream Cruise to stop by the Road Commission’s booth at the event. The booth will be located in Memorial Park at the northeast corner of Thirteen Mile Road and Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak. It will be staffed by RCOC employees and retirees volunteering their time.
