The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a tour of church locations that were once located along one street in downtown Rochester – Walnut Street - on Sunday, July 21 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. The tour will start at the St. Andrew Catholic Church location – the parking lot at Third and Walnut and tour guides will discuss church locations and existing buildings. Little House by the Creek Camp comes to the Rochester Hills Museum
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be presenting Little House by the Creek Camp on Thursdays, July 18, August 1, and August 8. Campers work and play like yesterday as people might have in the 1800s – attending the schoolhouse that they loved, harvesting fruits and vegetables and ending each session exploring the “shimmering” creek. The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be presenting Summer Safari on Saturday, June 29th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the museum. Admission is free for members of the Rochester Hills Museum. Admissions for non-members is for $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Ages 5 and up are welcome. The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is featuring a new temporary exhibit, Painting the Past, which is on display from Friday, June 14 through Saturday, August 31, 2013.
