The League of Women Voters Oakland Area will present a Candidates’ Forum for the upcoming General Election in the City of Rochester Hills. The forum will be held on September 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rochester Hills City Hall auditorium. City Hall is located at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive. Medical marijuana moratorium extended

Rochester Hills City Council has approved a one-year extension of its moratorium on medical marijuana businesses.Two, six-month moratoriums were previously approved. The latest extension came at the request of the planning commission. City Attorney John Staran said the moratorium does not prohibit the private use of medical marijuana in compliance with the law.
