According to the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), the road construction project that was supposed to close Tienken Road between Adams and Brewster in Rochester Hills on Monday, June 15, has now been pushed back to approximately Wednesday, June 17. Most everyone who relies on Tienken Road to get around is painfully aware that it is currently closed between Livernois and Rochester Roads while the second phase of the construction project that started last year rolls on until at least September. Tienken Road Closure Begins Monday in Rochester Hills

After a week’s delay, the closure of Tienken Road in Rochester Hills begins Monday, March 30. The work is needed to complete a Road Commission for Oakland County project which began last summer and included the addition of a roundabout at the intersection of Tienken and Livernois roads. The resurfacing project will close Tienken Road from Canyon Creek Road to Rochester Road. Tienken Road is expected to reopen Sept. 3.
