Dear Crabby, What if I am afraid of boats?

Dear Crabby, I have always been afraid of boats. I don't know why, but I am not a very good swimmer and I assume that is why I don't enjoy them.  My family wants to go out on a boat this summer, but I am just terrified.  Is there anything I can do to get over this fear?
