Rochester Hills, MI- Severe storms and heavy winds went through Rochester Hills Sunday morning causing severe damage to homes near Brewster and Tienken and knocking out power to 900 DTE Energy Customers. Tornado in Rochester Hills or not?

This morning, September 21, 2014 at around 6am in the morning some residents in Rochester Hills awoke to the sound of roofs being torn off, trampolines flying into trees, debris crashing through walls and more as a vicious storm went through the city. The bulk of the damage was near the cross streets of Grandview and North Fairview. As the pictures seen here show, the damage was substantial for several. Tornado Warnings and Power Outages in Rochester

On Thursday, August 19th the Tornado Warnings and Tornado Watches were sent out by the National Weather Service and Nixle in the Rochester area.  The picture attached was taken by Journalist Dan Stickradt of North Oakland Sports while attending a four-way football scrimmage at Oakland University in Rochester Hills.
