Museum marks Veterans Day

This year marks the beginning of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. To commemorate this anniversary and Veterans Day, the Rochester Hills Museum is presenting a guided tour of the Civil War Veterans buried in Stoney Creek Cemetery on Saturday November 12. The tour includes a scavenger hunt on the Civil War veterans buried in the cemetery and an optional memorial flower ceremony. The tour will start at the museum’s dairy barn. An American girl’s Viet Nam war

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will celebrate Veterans Day with a presentation by Rochester Hills resident Joann Puffer Kotcher, author of An American Red Cross Girl’s War in Viet Nam.
