"After 160 years, all of our stores nationwide are GOING OUT OF BUSINESS," is the what the email stated to customers of Carson's Department Stores. The early reports indicated only 42 locations would close, including three brands in Michigan - they operate Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s, and Younkers - that was January. Rochester-opoly Now Available, Just in Time for the Holidays
This holiday season the places of Rochester will be spaces on a customized board game, Rochester-opoly. The game will feature all of the fun and memorable places in our community, including Leader Dogs for the Blind, Oakland University, Rochester Hills Public Library and many more. Library Bookmobile Adds Stops
The Rochester Hills Public Library announced that Michigan’s busiest bookmobile will be even busier this summer due to several changes in its scheduled stops, beginning July 13, 2011.
