Rochester Hills Youth Council Accepting New Applications

The City Of Rochester Hills recently announced that applications for the 2021-2022 Government Youth Council are now being accepted.  Rochester Hills Youth Council For over 17 years, young people in Rochester Hills have been sitting on the Council dais sharing their experiences and getting an up close look at local government. Youth Council announces summit

The Rochester Hills Government Youth Council is inviting teens in grades 8-12 from local schools and student government and leadership councils from all over southeastern Michigan to participate in the second Youth Leadership in Local Government Summit, scheduled for Saturday, March 10 at Rochester Hills City Hall. Youth Council gives up-close view of government

For the sixth consecutive year, the city of Rochester Hills is offering some of the city’s brightest young residents an opportunity to get involved in government through the Government Youth Council. On Monday, 15 high-school students were sworn in by City Clerk Jane Leslie to form the 2011-12 youth council. Mayor presents proposed 2012 Hills budget

It’s budget time again in Rochester Hills, and Monday night city council received the mayor’s proposal for 2012. The proposed budget is the work of the mayor and department heads, but it is subject to approval by council. Council has scheduled two workshop meetings to dig into the document, at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 29. The public will have its chance to weigh in at a Sept. 19 public hearing.
