Downtown Rochester will once again host the Magical Mural Tour. The event will see 4’ x 8’ pop up murals all around downtown. The Tour begins on September 6 and will continue through September 30. However, to have the tour, we need to have artists.
The Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is now accepting applications from artists now through Friday, July 30. The Magical Mural Tour is open to all artists, including professional, and all ages too. All selected murals will be entered into a People’s Choice Contest, with the winning mural artist receiving a $500 cash prize.
“The opportunity to see pop-up art all around Downtown Rochester is a must-see event,” said Kristi Trevarrow, Executive Director of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA). “The Magical Mural Tour will give our community one more reason to visit downtown and experience all that downtown has to offer.”
