Kringle Market

The Kris Kringle Market is inspired by the 700 year-old tradition of the European Christmas markets. Visitors can enjoy food, shopping, entertainment and the ambience of an open-air holiday market. Offerings include hand-crafted gifts, fresh greens, baked goods, specialty foods, glass blowing and much more. Many popular vendors will be returning, including Bavarian Roasted Almonds Co., Nitsches Meats & Deli, and The Original Strudel Factory.

“The Kris Kringle Market is a main stay of holiday events in Downtown Rochester”, said Alan Smith, Chairman of the Rochester PSD. “The gifts, shopping, food and The Big, Bright Light Show creates a charming atmosphere that really suits Rochester with its heritage and tradition.”

Children can enjoy a visit and photo opportunity with Santa Claus, a free holiday craft, and a chance to play in child-sized gingerbread houses.

Food and beverage will be available in the warming tent. Visitors can purchase commemorative mugs filled with Gluhwein or enjoy hand-crafted beer from the Rochester Mills Beer Co.
