Terrific Tuesdays in the Garden provide children with the opportunity to use all five senses while learning the basics of gardening. There is a new theme each week and children enjoy stories, crafts, activities and snacks. Children ages 3 to 5 years and their caregivers learn how plants grow, how butterflies and ladybugs help, that we can eat food from plants for every letter of the alphabet, and there are plants for every color of the rainbow. Children ages 6 to 10 years learn more about horticulture, botany and entomology through literature, activities, crafts and snacks.
